Vernon Rd FootBridge

The bridge over Vernon Road, also referred to as the Vernon Road Footbridge, is a Grade II listed cast iron pedestrian structure located in Scarborough, North Yorkshire.

The bridge is small and made of cast iron, featuring trefoils in its spandrels and ornate scrolled ironwork within its pointed balustrade panels.

Erected around 1860–1870 for Lord Londesborough, it was originally a private bridge that connected Londesborough Lodge (currently the Medical Baths) to the town across Vernon Road.

The bridge links Crescent Gardens (near the Art Gallery) with Cliff Bridge Terrace, which is near the Grand Hotel and the larger Spa Bridge entrance.
The bridge was first officially designated as a heritage structure on 8 June 1973.
